The Boy stayed over at his friends, so Mum and Dad made the most of the free time and went for a lovely dinner at The Talardy. Dad had a chicken dinner and Mum had meatballs and both ate out in the sunshine. Dad noticed that there may be a nice sunset, so they headed for the beach. Boy, was he right!
After Dad safely escorted Mum to the water's edge to watch the waves, Mum drew some pictures in the sand. Dad helped, kinda.
Then the sun neared the horizon, changing the colours.

A lovely, lovely evening at Kinmel Bay, so nice that the pair completely forgot about the minced beef in the boot of the car. Oops!!
