Matt and Eleanor's Wedding

We had a lovely time at Matt and Eleanor's wedding.  We made our way down to Abergavenny on Friday 25th (getting stuck behind every variety of slow-moving vehicle the whole way) and met with Matt and Ian for a cuppa and a bite to eat.  That evening we went for a meal at The Angel Hotel with Matt's side of the family.  The next morning was a bit hectic, with people getting ready all over the place, but we managed to check in at Llansantffraed Court Country House and make the final preparations.  The service was beautiful and so was the food.  After the speeches were all done and dusted we let our hair down and partied into the night!  After soothing our sore heads with a fantastic breakfast the next morning, we had a really decent drive home and were so pleased to see The Boy again after his brilliant weekend at Nanny's.

Just before Eleanor, the beautiful bride, entered the room.

It was a bit hard to get photos of us both together, thanks to Davvers for taking this one!

I felt very honoured to be seated on table number two =D

Cuddles With Baby Gwen

After meeting for Baby Gwen cuddles at The Heights in Llanberis, we went for a walk around the country park to the Vivian Quarry.

The bridge where we all played Pooh sticks.

At the quarry.  We played a water droplet dodging game to get in and saw a big fish in the water.

A Picnic at Bodnant Garden

After preparing pulled pork and apple wraps and Nanny's homemade cakes, we headed off again to Bodnant Garden.

Yet another photo with the boy kinda squashed in at the bottom.

A Giant Redwood.

More beautiful Autumn colours.

The Boy's levitating leaf trick.

Mmmmm.  Tucking into Nanny's cakes.  They were delicious!

=D

The graves of Antonia and Mr Kipps, cats to the McLarens.

The sunshine came out for a bit which made the walk through the formal gardens all the more pleasant.

Ahhhhh, beautiful.  We could spend hours here.  In fact we were here for four hours!

The Boy, sitting under the cedar with his Knife of Never Letting Go.

Watching a water boatman and a wasp having a scrap in the water.  I wonder who won.

Mum being all arty with her camera, hehe.

Feeding the....Fish

We went to the Abbey to feed the ducks but got the most enjoyment out of watch the big koi carp rising through the depths to eat the crumbs on the surface.
