The Dark Side: The Story So Far

Mum and Dad started playing World of Warcraft again, and joined the Horde.  Raa!

It all started with Dad in Durotar on his Orc, And Mum on her Blood Elf in the Eversong Woods. A whole continent away!  Shame Mum didn't remember there's a relocating orb in the Blood Elf city.  This is screenshot of her trying to get her first glimpse of Dad....but all she got is this lousy plaguehound.

After a hard evening questing around Durotar, they settled off to sleep.  At least Dad did.  Zzzzzz.

Here's Dad coming in to land on a goblin-crafted rocket in the Barrens.

Another busy night, time to dream about happy giraffes.

They finally reached the right level to go to Stranglethorn Vale.  How very excited they were to see the place again.  Byebye Orgrimmar!

And hello to the tropical coastline of STV!

 The moon was very lovely.

And Mum got to take a screenshot in one of her top ten favourite screenshot places down in Booty Bay.

Thanks to Dad's water-walking skill and Mum's fancypants Chopper, getting around wasn't difficult.

Riding Mum's Travellers' Tundra Mammoth.  Dad would have smiled but he was probably vendoring things to the merchant on the other side,

Ah there we go.  Well, it's as close to smiling as Dad gets.

Then it was off to Feralas.  How disappointed they were with the quests there.  Lovely zone but such a slog!  The inn didn't afford much comfort either!

They went to Thousand Needles, just long enough for a boat ride.  But no longer.

Heading to Undercity via Orgrimmar, on their way to the Eastern Plaguelands.

Sadly they couldn't even find a bed to curl up in and ended up on the cold, stone floor of Light's Hope Chapel.  Brrr.

This is where Mum was meant to see a really cool cutscene and all she got was this lousy Tauren.

Flying all the way down to Tanaris.  A looooong flight.

But well worth it as there were his and hers meals at the inn in Gadgetzan.  A big pig for him and a big fish for her.  And beds too!!

The questing certainly beat that of Feralas

And they were thrilled to complete Zul'Farrak in their team of two.  OK Mum was thrilled, Dad seemed occupied with other stuff.

They found a bug or two in the game.

Tanaris.  Cue too many dancing ogre picture than is necessary.

Yes, well that's enough of that.

Un'goro Crater was another old favourite that had to be visited.  It wasn't baaaaaad!

 Spazhands in game form.

Ding!  Level 58 and time for a new continent.   Outland!

Ding!  Level 60 which meant it was time to put Mum's two-seater rocket to good use.  Noisy but functional.

Definitely not one of the best quests ever *sigh*

Ahem yes, it was bound to happen some time.

Spreadeagled bugquest Part 1.  The Zangarmarsh edition.

Spreadeagled bugquest Part 2.  The Blade's Edge Mountains edition.

Mum and Dad have a habit of clicking things at the same time, which makes for some interesting screenshots.  Here they are in Nagrand.

You there, check out that noise!

Ding!  Level 68 so it was off to Northrend to laugh at Dad trying to stay on his magic carpet.

One must always check in on the folks when passing.

Flying from Dalaran back to Coldarra.  They like Coldarra.

Real life beckoned and the laundry wasn't going to wash itself.  So Mum and Dad took five on a mountain as Malygos watched on.

Winterfin Caverns.  Cue more fake Murloc dancing screenshots than is necessary.

 This one is Mum's favourite.

 DiabloDad.

Chilling in the Legerdemain Lounge, Dalaran.

And that is where Mum and Dad are for the moment.  Great times!
