Mum, Dad and The Boy drove down to Cornwall to spend some time with Granny, D, Auntie A, Thom, Gwen, Auntie S and Uncle M at Penquite House.
Sadly, Mum did not take very many photographs but they had a lovely, relaxing time and the weather was pretty smashing.
Here's a selection of photos from the few that Mum did take.
Penquite House, The Family's favourite place to stay in Cornwall.
Penquite House again.
The Boy's favourite thing about Penquite House. He spent as much time as he could in the pool.
A common sight, Mum took a dip as well!
The pretty harbour of Port Isaac.
Nathan Outlaw's very old and wonky restaurant.
The Boy's tiny crab.
A jam jar of hot chocolate from a fantastic and characteristic cafe in Port Isaac.
Mmmm, homemade cake with lashings of Cornish clotted cream.
A very busy Padstow.
There's so much to look at it's difficult to take it all in!
The ultimate restaurant for Mum and Dad. Burgers for him and fish for her. How perfect!
The Boy did some crabbing whilst Mum and Dad walked around Padstow. He was instructed to take his brand new trainers off ;)
The Boy's shrimp.
The Buoy.
The beach at Rock.
Dad in the airy kitchen back at Penquite House.
We had a birthday party for Gwen.
Dad cooked wonderful food on the barbeque. Yum!
The Boy and J (The Boy's second cousin once removed) became firm friends.
The Family had a lovely time, and ended their summer holiday with a trip to see Grandad and S in Swindon, a meal out with friends Tom, Jasmine and Scarlett and they also had a catch-up and a bite to eat with friends Matt, Eleanor and baby Thomas. Lovely!
