Merry Christmas!

Mum, Dad and The Boy travelled up north to spend Christmas Day with Granny, D, Auntie A, Thom and Gwen.

Christmas Morning with stockings in bed and a bit of quiet time before the busy day began.

The Boy waiting patiently by the Christmas tree.

Mum and Dad, also quite excited about Christmas!

The table, all ready for a family Christmas dinner.

The Boy is thrilled with his new computer from Mum and Dad, his new mouse and keyboard from Nanny and Grandad D, his mousemat from Sis, his new desk from Grandad T, his new alarm clock from Auntie A and his new monitor which he bought with his Christmas and birthday money from Granny, Auntie S and Grandad T.  He's done well!

The Boy's Birthday

Hurrah, it's The Boy's 14th birthday!  Unfortunately he had to go to school so The Family couldn't take him on a day out.  However, Dad managed to get tickets to see Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awaken at the 3D iMax screen at Broughton on the very day the film was released in the UK!

The Boy's best friend also came along and they enjoed a trip to McDonald's before the movie.  It was fantastic and definitely a birthday that The Boy won't forget!

The Boy is 14!  Yay!

Here he is at the cinema with a Storm Trooper.  How chuffed does he look?!

And here he is with Boba Fett.

And here's his best friend and an Ewok.  (The Ewok is in the middle)

Dad's Birthday

Hurrah, it's Dad's birthday!  He chose to spend part of it in Snowdonia, one of his favourite places in the world.

Mum thought it might be a good idea to visit Swallow Falls in Betws y Coed since Dad had never seen the waterfall.  It had been raining lots and many parts of the UK were flooded, so Mum thought it was bound to look quite good.

The waterfall was massive and loud and fast and exciting!

The water looked cold but it was so mesmorising!

Thank you to The Boy for taking this lovely picture of Mum and the birthday boy.

The Family went to the Tamarind Thai restaurant in Colwyn Bay for a nice birthday meal.

The food was as nice as they had had before.

They all chose a dish each.  Here's Mum's lemon chicken.

And no Thai meal would be complete without a green curry.  This one was rather spicy!

Happy birthday, Dad!

Mum's Birthday

It was Mum's birthday!  She had a lovely day, with lovely presents and spent it with some of her favourites people.

Mum's fantastic graphics card from Dad.  Yay!

And her birthday breakfast.  Giant crumpets!

The Boy wrote his usual lovely messages.

The Family visited Trilby's memorial before visiting Nanny, Grandad and Sis.

The Boy tried hard to pose for a nice picture at Istanbul BBQ...

...But all he really wanted to do was watch the chefs cook his food.

The Birthday girl and Dad.

MMmmmmmMMMmmm Baclava.  Mum had been looking forward to it all day and she thoroughly enjoyed it!

It was a very cold night and Mum was only wearing a little dress and tights.  SHe felt very cold on the way back to the car.  Brrrr!

Happy birthday, Mum!
