Ashenvale

Exploring Ashenvale in style!

The seats could be a little more comfortable at times.

Vroom vroom!  Roll on level 40 when we can go VROOM VROOM!!

Bodnant Garden - Autumn

Grinning like the village idiots because we are now members of the National Trust, YAYAYAYAY!

Despite the season there were still lots of flowers in bloom.

KAPOW!  There wasn't a lack of colour either.

We loved Bodnant Hall!

The Pin Mill and those beautiful water lilies.  And a bench.

The rose garden.  We could just imagine ladies wandering around with their parasols.

One of the perfect roses with the most amazing scent.

I did love the water lilies, and the huge dragonflies that just wouldn't land.

The Lleyn Peninsula Great Exploration

Clynnog-fawr Church with a fab tour by the vicar!

Searching the rocky bit for interesting things.

The many wonderfully coloured pebbles and rocks.

Very happy kids!

The sunshine, glittering on the ocean.

Such a lucky weather day!

Sandboy.

Prettystonesgirl.

Builders of The Great Dam.

Teeny, weeny, FASTCRAB!

Mmmm, deep-flied food by the river.

New Coats All Round.

The view after a climb up into the hills from Trefriw, we sat on an outcrop of rock and drank our generic sports drinks.  Yummy!

Family =D  With a very strange attempt at a 'shark face' down at the bottom there.

We've no idea how long this young chap will continue to enjoy the outdoors but we hope our adventures set him up for a long and happy life of exploration.

Dad 'n' Lad on the 'Cool Bridge'

The beaaauuuutiful colours of mixed gorse and heather.

Skimming stones at Llyn Geirionydd.

Llyn Geirionydd and a curious monkey puzzle tree.

Sitting on a stile by a whopping rowan tree.

We found a very sparkly stone at Taliesin's birthplace momument.  The boy got a little fed up of carrying it round so he crammed it into a space above the archway of this ruined building.  We're going to go back one day and see if it's still there!

The huge cave which was bravely explored by Mum 'n' Son.  We need to bring a torch next time.  It felt like a proper cave too, complete with dripping sounds.

Llyn Crafnant and the wee speck of a house that I want to live in.  I do, I do, I do!

What has it got in it's sandwiches(es)?

A wonky picture of the boy on a rock, eating his sandwiches(es) and enjoying a break from the walk.

The boy went for a wander and ended up sitting with a friendly fisherman and having a good old chat about....fish.

Dad liked this weathervane.

Mum liked this pub.

The boy tries to stroke The Mythical Guardian of the Forest without her chomping on his mint Cornetto.

 Mum 'n' Son

So much water, and the boy didn't even get wet.  Not once!  Now that's progress =D

Is it a bird?  Is it a plane?  Oh no, wait....yep, it's a bird.
There were lots of shonky pictures like this.
And very few good ones like this.
Huddled up on the picnic blanket.
